Under the Artistic Directorship of Kate Simmons, the Company will dance 2 new works. The first is a narrative classical piece called “Encounter” -loosely based on the 1945 film “Brief Encounter”, choreographed by Kate Simmons to the first and second movements of Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto number 2.

 

The second piece is titled “The River is Wide” choreographed by Emma Briggs to Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata.

 

The dancers and musicians will bring great feeling and artistry to both works, making it a very interesting viewing.

To engage young Artists (dancers and musicians) in these difficult times, producing work of the highest possible standard, produced in a studio theatre setting filmed and Live Streamed to the general public.
